Dr. Joshua Wyatt
Smile Strategist
Dr. Wyatt enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He decided to become a dentist in 5th grade. He would grow more and more interested in dentistry each time he went to get his teeth cleaned. He is fortunate to know what he wanted to be when he grew up from a very young age.
After attending the University of Alabama for his undergraduate studies, he received his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys exercising in his spare time. His favorite part of dentistry is the patient care portion. Whether it be restorative dentistry or difficult extractions to dentures, he enjoys it all! He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the Hillsborough Dental Association. Dr. Wyatt spends hours improving his skills through continuing education. He has attended everything from the Dawson Academy occlusion course, DOCS sedation course, Tulsa Dental Endodontic Success and countless others.
When he isn't looking at teeth, he's spending time with his family; Jace, Kate, and dog Macy.
Dr. Mark McCaughey, DMD
Dr. Mark McCaughey grew up in Iowa, where he received his undergraduate degree before moving to Florida to earn his D.M.D. His favorite aspects of dentistry are patient care and working with his hands.
Outside of work you can find him spending time with his family, staying active, and exploring the outdoors. He enjoys volunteering at events like the Florida Mission of Mercy and attending continuing education courses.
Cary
Dental Assistant & Clinical Director
Cary has been with South Tampa Dentistry for 10 years. Her favorite part of dentistry is oral surgery and cosmetic dental procedures. When she isn't at the office, she enjoys spending time with her kids.
Calyn
Office Manager
Calyn is from Indianapolis and has lived in the Tampa area since 2001. She loves to spend time with her family, has two daughters, and thinks that the beach is the most amazing place in the world. She loves working in dentistry because she loves helping people and making them feel better about themselves.
Yanira
Front Desk Receptionist
Yanira is originally from Brooklyn, NY but grew up in the South Tampa area. Yanira graduated from USF in 2006 and has worked both in the dental and legal fields. She loves helping patients and making their dental experience more pleasurable. Yanira enjoys spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She also enjoys spending time outside, like the beach and hiking.
Madisyn
Front Desk Receptionist
Madi is originally from Minnesota, but currently lives in Tampa. Madi brings 2 years of dental experience and got into the dental field because her sister was a dental hygienist and always wanted to work together and had a chance to work at a dental office over the summer in high school. When she's not working, you can catch Madi going for walks, trying new recipes, and hanging out with friends.

Lead Dental Assistant
Ashley started her dental assisting career in 2014 and has been with South Tampa Dentistry since 2018. In her free time she spends time with her husband and daughter.
Jaymi
Dental Assistant
Originally from New York. Graduated as a Dental Assistant in 2015. Moved to Tampa in 2020 and joined South Tampa Dentistry's family in 2021.
Off The clock she enjoys food, kayaking, and lazy days at home with husband and dogs.
Luis
Dental Assistant
Luis joined MDG in 2024 as a floating dental assistant between our Clearwater & Seminole locations. Luis graduated from dental school in Cuba & brings with him 3 years of experience. After relocating to the Tampa Bay area, Luis wanted to continue to pursue his passion in dentistry.
When he is not in the office, you can find Luis fishing or cheering on his favorite soccer team, the Real Madrid!
Nikki
Dental Hygienist
Nikki has been with the practice since 2016. She has spent a total of 37 year in dentistry - 22 years in hygiene. She enjoys spending time with her two sons.
Ivanna
Dental Hygienist
Ivanna joined our team in January 2019 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has over fifteen years of collective dental experience. Ivanna is originally from Ukraine, and lived in NY for seven years before moving to Florida in 2011. She graduated from PBSC in 2015 with an Associate's degree in applied science and is certified to administer local anesthesia. She is experienced in many aspects of the dental field, including general, orthodontic, and pediatric dentistry. Prior to receiving her dental hygiene degree, her career started as a dental assistant where she spent nearly ten years helping to create beautiful smiles. Outside of the office, Ivanna enjoys spending time with her 3 puppies. She loves fashion, music, and fitness.
Belinda
Dental Hygienist
Ms. Belinda joined South Tampa Dentistry in April 2021. She graduated from Wayne Community College in NC before moving to Tampa, FL; she has been a resident for 20 years. She is active in her church. When she's not working, you can find her enjoying her hobbies; working out or doing ballet.
Paula
Dental Hygienist
Paula was born in Brazil. As a child, she was drawn to dentistry! She decided at 9 years old that she wanted to work in dentistry and has kept that commitment. Paula stayed in dentistry after moving the US. She joined Clearwater Dentistry with 11 years of dental experience. If she is not working here, you may find her at a car show! She and her husband love cars and enjoy working on a project or two! Paula enjoys the Florida beaches, running, and tending to her plants.

Dental Hygienist
Yani joined South Tampa Dentistry in 2023. Yani has been in dentistry for ten year; she is a licensed dentists in Cuba and Venezuela and a Registered Dental Hygienist in the State of Florida. Yani enjoys helping people smile! When she isn't with us, she is likely enjoying time with her friends and family!
Daniel
Dental Hygienist
Daniel began his dental career in Cuba in 2018, where he practiced as a dentist for nearly five years. In 2022, he moved to the United States, where he worked as a dental assistant and has now been practicing as a Dental Hygienist for the past year. Daniel’s goal is to one day become a licensed dentist in the U.S.Since moving from Cuba, he has made Tampa his home. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and going on walks
